This Blackthorn Walking Stick is made from Irish Blackthorn by an Irish Craftsman in what is known as 'Ireland's Hidden Heartlands.'

This Irish Blackthorn walking stick is very straight and has some nice subtle thorn stubbs / knobbles.  Blackthorn is a very hard and durable wood which is why they make ideal walking sticks for hiking etc.

All our Blackthorn sticks are sourced by us from our own fields or surrounding area in a sustainable manner.  We regularly plant new blackthorn bushes even though on taking samples we do not destroy the original bush.

Tapering from approximately 1" to 3/4"  it is a slim and refined cane.

Weighing in at 490g or just under 1.1lb.  

The handle is part of the same piece of blackthorn and not attached separately.  The handle has been treated with Danish Oil for durability and protection.

This Irish Blackthorn Walking stick is 40.5" in length tip to tip and can be cut to length required on request.
